The title of the article caught my eye ! Having come from a similar educational background and being at a similar life-stage, the realisation has started to dawn that there perhaps was a much better way to learn. Really loved the time and effort that you have put into writing this article and collating this information!! Raj Setty's advice is particularly nice. Have made a good note of it :)

I think as we transition into real life, we start to get a sense of what really matters. We get agency over what is it we want to learn. That's when we actually start thinking about refining our mental models to make the most of our learning.

The techniques in this article are extremely practical & time-tested. The education system could do a lot better by just teaching students how to get better at learning. A college student, though, might find it difficult to follow them because of the inherent bias the education system builds in of getting good grades/placements, thanks to the peer pressure. Shifting away from that mindset would be the first major task of improving the learning experience in college.

Second would be to just be more open about what we are learning in college.

Referring to a William Deresiewicz article here,https://theamericanscholar.org/solitude-and-leadership/, when he says that our education system can be made a lot better by equipping students to think for themselves.
